Our first week of sixth grade is over! So many great activities occurred in Room 4. On Monday, we did several ice breakers. We started our morning meeting by creating a giant spiderweb made out of yarn. Each student shared their interests. Additionally, we played games that fostered collaboration. Students received their materials and books. Lastly, students created their edmodo profile and avatar. The highlights of this week was Coding course, Parents Info Session, meeting Coral, our class pet and Kinder Buddies. A big thank you to Mrs. Riveria, who allowed the kinder students to participate in our coding session. Our students worked really hard to practice their coding and English skills to teach the kindergarten class computer basics. Overall, this week was a success and we all enjoyed the end of the week with Justin's O. birthday celebration.

Teachers and administrators have been busy at work. Our school is growing. You will see new faces on campus. Our classroom are getting cleaned and prepared. I am working hard in making sure we have all our equipment and materials ready. I hope all of you have been reviewing by reading daily and practicing math fluency. I am excited to hear about all your summer adventures!
