Costume Parade

Sixth grade participated in the costume parade at Rockwood Elementary this morning. Many students used their creativity to dress up and show their spirit on the last day of Red Ribbon Week. Also, ASB announced campaign winners. President - Chantelle is representing the sixth grade students.

Red Ribbon Week is in full swing at Rockwood Elementary. All students participated in a grade level activity decorating the school. Sixth grade was in charge of designing positive chalk art using this year's theme. Many students wore red to wear their support on kick-off day. Every year, sixth grade students in Imperial County are invited to participate in a field trip to the Imperial Fairgrounds. All students arrive to a showcase from different government organizations. The second part of the field trip involves a six skits that demonstrate the path of making bad choices. This field trip occurs during Red Ribbon Week and is part of a campaign for students to pledge Drug Free.
