Red Ribbon 2015 Reflective Essay

    During Red Ribbon Week we do many things to celebrate drug awareness. We do incredible posters in one day. We too do essays to talk about the negative impacts about drugs. We have field trips to teach us about how bad are drugs. We do more activities, this are just some activities we do during Red Ribbon Week.
One activity that we did in Red Ribbon Week was that we use black and white. We need to come with a clothes that is black and white for Friday. I brought a black shirt and white pants. I got the pants a little dirty but that was not a problem. Then later on Mrs. V was fixing the video that we did for this special week. We were all laughing and scared about people seeing our video on Youtube and in school.It was the opening assembly of Red Ribbon week. Then like about at two the school brought the BMX riders. They did some special tricks for us. Everyone was excited and surprise. We then went to home.
Then next week we needed to bring a red shirt with a cap and sunglasses. I brought my red shirt with my uniform skirt. Of course  I brought my sunglasses and cap. I did all the routine of the morning  when we finished P.E I put my sunglasses which look like real glasses. Everyone asked me “ You wear glasses?” Then I said “ No, this glasses are fake.” I have brought two more different sunglasses and I used all of them. All day I used my sun glasses. Then later we went to home.
On Tuesday, we needed to brought our pajamas. I was little scared of bringing  pajamas all alone but I asked some of my friends if they were going to bring their pajamas and some said “Yes.” So I brought my cupcake pajamas and everyone almost all my class brought their pajamas. Then I did not feel all alone after all. I liked wearing my pajamas that day. Everyone said that my cupcake pajamas were cute. Later on we went home at one p.m.
Another activity that we did on Red Ribbon Week was to bring something red or pink to support cancer awareness. I wore a pink shirt with pink long socks and a red sweater. That same day we went to the Imperial Drug Store. There were many activities to do in the drug store. I too saw some of my old friends that day which is very special for me. In the drug store the people made a skit for us. It looked so real I got scared. They talked about saying no to drugs and to be good kids and not do bad choices for our lives. Then we got to our transportation which was a bus. When we come to school it was like one thirty p.m. We just did some math and went to home.
On Thursday we brought a costume of our favorite superhero or we could bring a shirt. I brought the only superhero shirt I had which was superman. Everyone brought a shirt just some kids a wore a costume. Then in class my teacher Mrs. V asked us to make a circle and then shared who was our favorite superhero.  Then we continue our normal school day. But everyone was excited of tomorrow. Everyone was excited because tomorrow was Friday.
The last day of Red Ribbon Week we used our Halloween costumes. Everyone was telling their Halloween costume but I kept my costume as secret. Then when I entered nobody recognized me. Then everyone said you are a hippy. Everyone was saying you are going to win the contest and I like you costume. When we went to the last assembly for Red Ribbon week it was the assembly of student o0f the month, last assembly of Red Ribbon, and the Halloween Costume Contest. Even though I did not won I was happy with my costume we had a fun Friday and we had a Halloween party. Some kids and Mrs. V gave some candy like if we were trick or treating. It was a great week. These are all the activities we did during red ribbon week.

What is red ribbon week? Red ribbon week is a week at school which you learn about drug awareness. You do a lot of different things. Also, you wear different outfits during the week. In my school, we have assemblies, dances, and a field trip.
One of the things we do during red ribbon week is that we do posters. We do a big poster as a class and put it at the door. Then, we do our own posters. We draw and color the posters. There are some judges that like and dislike the posters. The judges pick the best drawing and announce the winner.
 Anyways, we dressed with different outfits during the week. On Monday, we bring a red t-shirt learn about drug awareness. Afterwords, on Tuesday we bring our pajamas to school. We wear pink and red on Wednesday to support cancer. Thursday we wear a super hero  t-shirt or a custom. Friday the last day, we bring our Halloween costumes. 
Additionally, we learn what to do and say when somebody ask you for drugs. We learn what kind of drugs are the baddest of all. Many people fall for drugs. Red ribbon week is a fun week at school and we learn a lot of things. Finally, that’s what we did in red ribbon week.
