Summer Break

Greetings Parents and Students! I am excited to meet you and get this school year started. I will be your sixth grade teacher this year. The purpose of the blog is to increase communication between classroom and home. In this blog, you will find pictures and written accounts of our classroom activities. Some will be written by me and others by students. Here are a few things I did this summer! 

This summer was spent travelling on the California Coast and Washington. My California road trip started in San Diego and ended in San Francisco. The California coast is an amazing place to visit. I went on an urban hike in San Francisco and bike riding along Monterrey Bay. In Washington, I got to visit Seattle and ride the ferry. In Washington, I visited the first Starbucks and went to the Space Needle.  

A little about me: I am the proud owner of a dachshund. Winnieberto is three years old and he enjoys chasing birds. I am the oldest of six siblings. My family is from Mexicali and Calexico. I enjoy reading comic books and enjoy hiking in beautiful places. My favorite place to visit is Ensenada, Baja California.
